Abstract
Washing efficiency of water/nonionic surfactant/hydrocarbon systems under the presence of different types of electrolytes has been evaluated, The influence of different parameters such as pH value, washing time, electrolyte concentration, etc., have also been considered. The results showed that the enhancement on washing efficiency promoted by alkaline electrolytes was higher than that promoted by neutral electrolytes. Keywords
