Abstract
The valid name of the fungus affecting Platanus species inciting a disease called sycamore anthracnose or leaf and twig blight of planes is Gnomonia platani Kleb., not Gnomonia veneta (Sacc. et Speg.) Kleb. The name for the asexual stage found on living leaves is Gloeosporium platani Oud., not Gloeosporium nervisequum (Fckl.) Sacc.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
