Abstract
In January 1989 a new Community Documentation Centre on Industrial Risk was started. The objective of the centre is to create a bibliographic and scientific environment, which facilitates exchange of information between the Member States on the control of major hazard industrial activities and published accident reports, to gain the maximum knowledge from the common European effort towards industrial safety. The centre conains relevant information on the different national approaches and technical guidelines concerning the industrial activities covered by the EEC Directive on Major Accident Hazards. The Documentation Centre contains mainly documents not easily found elsewhere, issued by governmental sources or specific to the Directives. At the moment the Documentation Centre contains about 150 reviewed Documents and the first bulletin of reviews was issued in April 1989 and the second one is in print. The Documentation Centre contains public documents only. Keywords
