Large-momentum behavior of Hartree and Hartree-Fock solutions

Abstract

We show that the Hartree or Hartree-Fock momentum-space wave function for a self-interacting bound state decreases faster than any power of the momentum for large momentum so long as the underlying two-body force is local.
