Abstract
Chitinous parts of caddisfly larvae have been recovered from Sangamonian Interglacial silts and clays from the Don Valley brickyard Toronto, Ontario. These indicate that deposition took place at the mouth of a river. Various characteristics of this river, the large lake into which it flowed, and the watershed are deduced. It is suggested that the prognosis for paleoecological use of this insect group is good. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
