Abstract
The anatomico-radioangiographical investigations of extra-coronary vascularization of the human heart muscle performed on 100 corpses are presented. Radioangiograms of the atrial branch of the bronchial artery, injected in an extra-coronary way, are demonstrated. The results show that in 40% of cases this extracoronary pathway might be of practical significance for vascularization of the heart and especially of the auricles. Its development depends on local anatomy of the heart vessels and it seems to have some practical importance in atherosclerosis. It appears more frequently in men than in women, but it is not statistically significant. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
