Abstract
The electrical resistivity of liquid Ba has been measured. The value obtained at the melting point is 314+or-12 mu Omega cm and is therefore one of the largest for liquid metals. The temperature coefficient of the electrical resistivity is negative as is characteristic for liquid Zn. BaO impurities do not greatly influence the electrical resistivity in the liquid state. Keywords
