Abstract
Strength-duration curves for evocation of electroshock seizures are compared in various spp. For short durations the stimulation of energy required approaches a constant value. A comparison is made of the relative excitability of the brain during various types of seizures. During continuous inadequate electrical stimulation an accommodation process of small extent may be identified. During continuous adequate stimulation multiple seizures may be evoked. The mechanism of multiple seizures following metrazol injection is analyzed. Keywords
