Abstract
Noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is significantly greater in rats fed a Mg-deficient diet than in rats on a Mg-rich diet. Hearing loss was negatively correlated with Mg concentration of the perilymph. Apparently, in man, the Mg concentration in the perilymph may be of importance in determining susceptibility to NIHL.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
