Abstract
The effect of Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) on the concentration of perchlorate and fluoroborate ions in the thyroid glands of rats was investigated. The results show an increase in the concentration ratio of these ions in mg of thyroid—over concentration in mg of serum (T/S), 24 hours after administration of TSH. The nonspecific nature of the regulatory mechanism in the trapping stage of the thyroid gland is demonstrated. Keywords
