Resonant holography of plasma flow phenomena

Abstract
A dye laser, tuned near the Ba ii ion resonance line at 4554 Å and used as a light source for a holographic interferometer, allows ion densities as low as 5×1013 cm−3 to be measured in flowing barium plasmas.Keywords
