Abstract
This article reviews the literature on women, work, and the family in Puerto Rico. It presents the findings of a study on the significance of work for Puerto Rican women and how women view the roles of men and women in the family. Some changes in the family roles and work of Puerto Rican women are discussed, as are implications of the study's findings for social work practice, social policy, and further research. Keywords
