New FET active slotline ring antenna

Abstract

A new active slotline ring antenna using an FET is presented. A simple Transmisson line method was used to predict the resonance frequency of the FET active slotline ring antenna with good agreement. The active antenna radiated 21.6 mW with 18% efficiency at 7.7 GHz.
