Motion of Equivalent Electric Dipole to Cardiac Activity Estimated from Body Surface Potentials

Abstract
Using the least square method, the motion of an equivalent electric dipole which simulates electric activity of the heart was traced from body surface potentials. In normal cases, this equivalent dipole was a good approximation. For myocardial infarction and bundle branch block, the equivalent dipole no longer is a good approximation of heart electrical activity.
