Abstract
Summary Isolation of the virus of Western equine encephalomyelitis from the brain of a horse with classic signs of this disease in Florida during May 1964 is described. Although the virus has been isolated from mosquitoes and birds, cases in horses have not been reported previously from eastern seaboard states. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
