Abstract
Inflammatory events duringLeishmania braziliensisinfection in mice were investigated. Large lesions were directly correlated with the inflammatory reaction but not with parasite burden. DifferentL. braziliensisstrains induce different paces of chemokine expression patterns, leading to diverse cell recruitment and differential inflammatory responses. Keywords
