Abstract
The method presented provides a fast and sufficiently accurate method for determining the resin and rubber contents of guayule. Although it does not provide definitive or “absolute” values that presumably can be obtained with sophisticated instrumentation, it is well suited for agronomic developmental studies at the field station level.
