Abstract
The structure of a conventional scatter plate interferometer is modified by a polarization technique, and a new type of phase shifting scatter plate interferometer is presented. It has both the merits of a conventional scatter plate interferometer and the phase shifting interferometric technique. The working of this interferometer is demonstrated. Keywords
