Abstract
Rhabdomyosarcomas were induced in raffs at the sites of intramuscular injection of the triphenylmethane dye Blue VRS. The tumor incidence was 50% in females and 26% in males, the median latent period was 50 and 30 weeks, respectively, and the average total dose required for induction was 417 and 307 mg, respectively. Metastases occurred frequently and the tumors were successfully transplanted into raffs of the same strain. Keywords
