Abstract
This paper presents a summary of the polarization properties of 65 sources in the 3C catalogue, based on published material together with newly determined rotation measures. A discussion of the data shows that the source axes and magnetic field directions are related, but reveals no obvious correlations between the physical parameters of sources and their polarization properties. The relation of polarization properties to models of radio sources is discussed, and restrictions can be placed on the magnetic fields and thermal electron densities in these sources. Keywords
