Abstract
An apparatus which measures the tension developed in the calf muscles of the human leg is descr. It consists of a framework, into which the leg of the seated subject is clamped, which supports a platform rotated by the foot. The pressure on this platform and hence the force of contraction of the calf muscles is recorded by a hydraulic system. Reference is made to some of the uses of this apparatus. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
