Abstract
In this review, we discuss and compare current methods of treating and preventing myopia including radial keratotomy, keratomileusis, keratophakia, epikeratoplasty, keratokyphosis, scleral reinforcement, phakoemulsification, and heat application. Among the visual training methods are such procedures as biofeedback and behavior modification. The use of drugs, orthokeratology, spectacles, bifocals, prisms, intraocular lenses, contact lenses, and ultrasound are described. Keywords
