Nonrestoring binary division using a cellular array

Abstract

An iterative array for nonrestoring division is described. It uses a logic cell which has been proposed for an array for binary square-root extraction. The array for binary division is fully iterative in terms of cell logic and in the interconnection pattern between the cells.
