Abstract
As part of the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope's (CFHT) New Imaging Program we recently fabricated a pair of 1.0 - 2.5 micrometers facility cameras, known as 'Redeye'. Each camera uses a Rockwell NICMOS3 Hg:CdTe array with 256 X 256 pixels. The two cameras are virtually identical in all respects except one houses 1.7:1.0 reimaging optics, while the other houses 0.7:1.0 reimaging optics. The cameras were commissioned in January 1993 and we anticipate developing several new observing modes in the near future. Keywords
