Abstract
Differences in the learning of horizontal elevated mazes and elevated inclined mazes were studied. Similar patterns of the 2 mazes were used. Fewer errors were made on the inclined maze than on the horizontal maze. When placed on mirror image mazes of the same kind each group showed positive transfer. Slight evidence was obtained to show a greater amt. of savings in forward-going errors in the rats learning the inclined mazes. Savings in terms of retracing showed no reliable difference. Factors which might be associated with the faster learning in the inclined maze situation are discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
