Abstract
This article describes a collaborative effort between university researchers and a CETA prime sponsor aimed at "knowledge development" in employment and training services for disadvantaged out-of-school youth. The article describes the impetus for the evaluation, outlines the original evaluation design, discusses implementation problems, presents the results, and assesses the usefulness of the endeavor. Discussion is also included on the general feasibility of experimental evaluation for youth employment programs in a local setting. Keywords
