Abstract

The results of a questionnaire survey that report business practices in the construction industry are presented. Special consideration is paid to organizational procedures and to capital-budgeting-techniques. The quantitative and qualitative factors influencing investment decisions and the consideration of risk in the investment decision process are analyzed.
