Abstract
The problem of steady, laminar flow in the vicinity of a rotating ring inserted into a semi-infinite fluid interface is solved when the liquid surface is covered with an insoluble film possessing an intrinsic surface viscosity. The results are presented as interpolation polynomials which permit calculation of the absolute surface viscosity of the film from measured values of the torque exerted on the ring. Keywords
