Abstract
Empirical statistical relationships are found between each of the third moments and the two second moments of solar-wind proton velocity distributions. These can be used to close the Vlasov moment equations when applied to the behavior of the solar-wind plasma over a sufficiently large temporal or spatial scale. Keywords
