$S$ -Wave Hyperon-Nucleon Interactions and S $U_{3}$ Symmetry

Abstract

The generalized Pauli principle is combined with the assumption of S

U_{3}

symmetry to yield relations between hyperon-nucleon and nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitudes for the

{}^{1}S_{0}

and

{}^{3}S_{1}

states.
