Abstract
24 of 50 patients with spinal cord disease, examined at Bellevue Psychiatric and The Mt. Sinai Hosps., showed extinction and obscuration of the stimulus applied below the level of the lesion when a 2d was applied above at the same time. Displacement was rarely observed. Levels obtained were sharp and consistent with the anatomic level of the disease process. Occasionally levels were demonstrated by this method when they were not apparent by more usual methods of testing. Keywords
