Abstract
We report a case of pure red cell aplasia (PRCA) that resulted from interferon (IFN)-alpha therapy for chronic myelogenous leukemia. PRCA improved within 1 month after IFN-alpha was discontinued. This case indicates the involvement of IFN-alpha in the pathogenesis of PRCA.Keywords
