Abstract

Pairs of similar scenes, one Mexican and one from the United States, were presented stereoscopically to 12 Mexican Ss and 12 matched Ss from the United States. "Under these conditions of experimentally induced binocular rivalry, . . . scenes from the S's own culture tended to be perceptually predominant."
