Abstract
Folie à famille is a rare variant of the folie à deux situation. A family history is presented which demonstrates both folie communiquée and folie imposée, two of the four subgroups summarized by Gralnick (1942) from the 19th century literature. The fact that mere separation of affected persons may be inadequate is emphasized. Keywords
