Abstract
Exponential lines, like exponential horns, are useful as impedance-matching devices. They are best inserted in a high-pass filter having the same cutoff frequency determined by the rate of taper. Unusual rules are derived for inserting the line in the filter with exact matching of iterative and image impedances. Design formulas are derived for the construction of exponential lines. Keywords
