Abstract
Levels in 49Ca and 51Ti were populated via the 48Ca(d,p)49Ca and 50Ti(d,p)51Ti reactions at 6 MeV bombarding energy. Two sets of particle-gamma coincidences were recorded simultaneously between each of two silicon detectors and a germanium detector. Mean lifetimes or lifetime limits were measured by the Doppler shift attenuation method for eight levels in 49Ca and nine levels in 51Ti. An extended decay scheme of excited levels in 51Ti was established up to 3.7 MeV. The lifetimes of several states in 41Ca and 49Ti were also measured. Keywords
