Abstract
A cheap and effective modification of the Western Australian blowfly trap is described. The trap, used with a liver and sodium sulphide bait, has proved an efficient means of determining seasonal variations in activity of the principal sheep blowfly strike species Lucilia sericata, L. cuprina, Calliphora stygia and Chrysomya ruffacies in New Zealand. Keywords
