Abstract
During treatment with a dithranol-containing collodion for common warts, a patient developed a eczematous reaction on the treated sites and the extremities. Patch testing revealed a contact allergy to dithranol. Two applications of the collodion cured the warts within 3 weeks. It is argued that contact allergy to dithranol occurs more frequently than is suspected. Keywords
