The bed-wetting child

Abstract
The humiliation of bed-wetting may prevent a child from engaging in normal social activities, and parents may fear the presence of serious structural abnormalities. After the latter have been excluded, a number of treatment options may be considered, including the use of medication and alarm systems. The authors note that once some parents are reassured that no serious health problems exist, they are willing to wait out the problem without specific therapy for the child.
