Abstract
A review of the theories on fixation mechanism of K in soil is given. Expts. are reported on the mill-run and ground pyrophyllite as a material for K fixation. The conclusion is reached that the fixation mechanism is the same for different materials. Evidence is presented in support of the contentions that K is fixed between the layers of layer-lattice minerals. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
