Abstract
A detailed study of scaling violations for spin-dependent structure functions is worked out by direct resolution of the Altarelli-Parisi equations. Analytic parametrizations of the x and dependence of polarized valence-quark, antiquark, and gluon distributions are also given. They are used to make predictions for spin-spin asymmetries in some specific reactions.
