Abstract
It is shown that the maximum height of an »ideal» raised bog is proportional to the square root of the annual rainfall and to the square root of the »diameter» of the bog. In an »ideal» soligenous mire the discharge across a section cut perpendicular to the stream lines is proportional to the area of the section and to tg α, where α is the angle formed with the horizontal plane. Keywords
