Binding of neomycin and analogues by fatty acidsin vitro

Abstract
Neomycin forms insoluble complexes with long-chain fatty acids in vitro. This reduces the diffusion of neomycin but does not directly neutralize its antibiotic activity. Possible effects in vivo are discussed.Keywords
