Abstract
A survey of child health professionals—pediatricians, pediatric nurses, child psychologists, and child psychiatrists—revealed that they have generally positive attitudes toward hypnosis but little knowledge of its specific advantages or applications. Recommendations are made for designing training opportunities in hypnosis which might enhance the probability that the professional will actually use hypnosis or refer a child elsewhere for hypnotherapy. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
