Abstract
The cross section for inelastic scattering of high-energy electrons by deuterons is calculated using the impulse approximation. The results agree with those of Jankus. The cross sections are given for several neutron charge and moment distributions. The peak cross sections are simply related to the free-nucleon cross sections with this approximation. Keywords
