On two inequalities of sobolev type

Abstract

Two integral inequalities of the Sobolev type are developed for three-dimensional functions defined on bounded, three-dimensional domains. In the first case the L₄ integral of such a function is bounded in terms of its Dirichlet integral; in the second case the L₄ integral is bounded in terms of its L₂ and Dirichlet integrals.
