Abstract
In the present paper we calculate exactly the average squared displacement (ASD) of a tagged bead of a harmonic polymer chain in a system with random, layered convection flows. We show that the ASD exhibits an anomalous behavior; its dependence on time is stronger for long than for short chains. We present also an explanation for this effect. Keywords
