Search for the decays Bd0μ+μ and Bs0μ+μ in pp¯ collisions at s=1.8 TeV

Abstract
We present a search for the flavor-changing neutral current decays Bd0μ+μ and Bs0μ+μ in pp¯ collisions at s=1.8 TeV, using 98pb1 of data collected at the Collider Detector at Fermilab. We find one candidate event for these decays, which is consistent with the background estimates, and set upper limits on the branching fractions of B(Bd0μ+μ)<8.6×107 and B(Bs0μ+μ)<2.6×106 at 95% confidence level.
