Abstract
The first system measurement on the bit error rate performance of an ultrashort-pulse optical CDMA channel under multi-access interference is reported. Effective interference suppression for error-free CDMA detection is demonstrated through spectral phase coding and the use of a nonlinear fibre discriminator. Keywords
