Abstract
A training course which has been developed for doctors in public health medicine is described. Its underlying purpose was to create an appreciation of general management principles to ensure that resources would be directed to computing which supports patient care. This course could be adapted for computer training of experienced doctors in other branches of medicine.Keywords
